This policy explains what personal information Creator Labs collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can get it changed or removed. Creator Labs is part of Insil and can be reached at team@insil.com.au.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this website we ask for your name, email address and phone number, and you may add a message. We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any sensitive information anywhere on this site.
Our website also records ordinary technical information as you browse, such as the pages you visit, the approximate region you visit from, the type of device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
- To prepare a quote or proposal for work you have asked about.
- To keep a record of our conversation so we do not ask you the same questions twice.
- To understand which pages and advertisements bring people to the site, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email to people who have only made an enquiry unless they have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of established service providers to run this website and our enquiries. Each of them receives only what it needs to do its job.
- Webflow hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- HubSpot is our customer relationship system. Enquiry details are recorded there so our team can follow up.
- Google provides advertising and measurement tools, and serves the fonts used on this site.
- Meta provides advertising measurement for campaigns we run on Facebook and Instagram.
- YouTube serves the videos embedded on our project pages.
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By using this website you consent to that disclosure. We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle information to a comparable standard.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make the site work properly, and to measure the performance of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop you using the site or sending us an enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we have an active or recent relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete your details we will do so, except where we are required to keep a record for tax or legal reasons.
Keeping it secure
Your information is held in the systems named above, which are access controlled and encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us and we limit who on our team can see it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete it. Email team@insil.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information or your complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back if it matters to you.
